Potter Guild of British Columbia PGBC is looking for two .NET developers to join our team and contribute to the development of web-based software using the .NET framework.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating applications from the ground up, configuring new systems.

To excel in this position, you must possess the ability to write functional code and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving defects. Collaboration and effective communication are essential, as you will be working closely with frontend developers. If you have a genuine passion for the .NET framework and would like to get more experiences with building software, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in requirements analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
  • Write clean, scalable code using .NET C# programming languages.
  • Test and deploy application.
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.

Requirements and skills

  • Experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, MySQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
  • Knowledge of the .NET languages C# and HTML5/CSS3
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Attention to detail.

The Potters Guild of British Columbia (PGBC) is a non-profit society that serves the needs of the BC ceramic arts community. Currently it provides membership to ceramic community, organizes events, and community gas kiln on a fee-for-service basis.
