We specialize in providing multi-language digital ordering solutions to small businesses primarily targeting local customers. Over the past five years, we have served numerous small businesses in various cities across Canada and the United States. Goopter provides each business with an independent cross-platform online ordering website, and shared mobile app; we also provide comprehensive merchant applications for merchants to manage products, inventory, customers and orders, print receipts, etc. Our solution can greatly simplify the ordering process, which can greatly improve customer satisfaction, reduce operating costs, and improve business efficiency.
Goopter is also an authorized business partner of the largest payment processing companies and provides state-of-art credit card machines, retail & restaurant POS system and offers the most competitive service fee.
Goopter is seeking ambitious Sales Representatives to join our team; as an Intern, you'll drive new business opportunities through prospecting, outbound lead generation, and managing the full sales cycle.
What do you sell:
- Goopter eCommerce solution to small businesses;
- Credit card POS machine, POS system, and credit card payment processing service, POS system for retail, restaurants, and service shops;
- Goopter Kiosk solution;
What You'll Do
* Strategically identify strong potential clients for Goopter; this includes but not limited to retail store, restaurants, service shops etc.;
* Contact potential clients by email, cold call, social media and door-to-door visits to pitch the Credit Card POS machine & Goopter’s digital order solution and discover if there is an opportunity for our solution to solve a business problem;
* Manage full sales cycle ensuring that prospects understand the value of Goopter solutions;
* Be skilled in the art of research. Obtain a detailed understanding of the company profile through meaningful business conversations and online searches;
* Conduct trials, provide technical support to potential customers, sign the sales contract and collect payment from clients;
* Keep track of attribution and success rates;
Who You Are
* You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and strong business acumen; you have experience having meaningful business conversations with clients over the phone or in-person;
* Be bold, creative & passionate in sales/marketing activities, can work independently with minimal supervision or can be adaptable to work with a team; you will never give up before you achieve the goal;
* You are enthusiastic in B2C, B2B technology sales;
* You have an existing network of customers and partners;
* You have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in past roles;
Bonus Points
* Passion for technology, mobile and/or e-commerce
* Experience working in a start-up
* Digital marketing experience
* Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Sales or a similar discipline
Please note: this internship does not offer a base-pay, you will be compensated by sales commission. However, a successful candidate may be considered for a job opportunity after completing the internship, although this is not guaranteed.
