Project Description
Student Selection:
Open to all students, especially those with little or no Canadian work experience.
Ideal for students passionate about marketing, sales, and digital marketing promotion or those aspiring to build a career in these fields.
Program Structure:
Students will be grouped into teams of four, each team working with an industry partner and a Mentor.
Each team will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for their assigned company.
Digital Marketing: Two students per team will focus on online promotion, including social media management, video creation, and content marketing.
Onsite Sales: The other two students will concentrate on door-to-door sales and other direct sales methods.
Teams will brainstorm creative marketing solutions, develop strategies, and execute both online and offline promotions.
Mentorship and Guidance:
Each team will receive ongoing support and guidance from a dedicated mentor.
Mentors will oversee the project, monitor progress, provide feedback, and assist with strategy development.
Project Documentation:
Each team will create a "Promotion Strategies Handbook" to document their strategies, analyze what works and what doesn't, and track social media traffic and sales outcomes.
This handbook will serve as a valuable reference for students in future projects and job applications.
Performance and Compensation:
Students will receive payment upon reaching specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
High-performing students may be offered employment opportunities by industry partners.
Entrepreneurial Opportunity:
