Project Overview:
We are excited to have you join us on an internal project aimed at showcasing local businesses through interviews that highlight their achievements, challenges, and advice. This initiative includes creating video and content that strengthens connections within the local business community while reaching a broader audience of clients and customers.

As a volunteer, you’ll contribute to the Networking Vancouver website and The Business Spotlight feature, focusing exclusively on local businesses. Business owners and professionals will answer five questions about their journey on video. Your role will involve assisting Juuga team members in editing and producing these short interview videos, then posting them on the website, social media platforms, and in our newsletter.

Student Roles Include:

• Content Creation: Research and curate relevant content for the website, including networking news, local event calendars, articles, and tips, guided by a Juuga team member.
• Newsletter Creation: Design and distribute newsletters to the local business community via email.
• Video Production: Assist with 2-4 guest-recorded videos per month, editing and preparing them for publishing.
• Marketing Support: Provide input for social media and other marketing strategies to promote the project.

Note: Students will not be responsible for finding or interviewing guests—this will be arranged by the Juuga team.

What We’re Looking For in a Volunteer:

• Willingness and eagerness to learn
• Interest in local businesses and the stories behind them
• Enthusiasm for networking and expanding your professional connections
• Basic understanding of video editing and social media publishing (helpful but not required)

Time Commitment:
You’ll need to attend in-person at our office on Seymour and Georgia once a week for approximately 2 hours, plus an additional 2 hours of independent work.
