Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented B2B Sales and Business Development Specialist to help expand our presence by securing partnerships with potential buyers and negotiating new store openings in malls. This role involves conducting thorough research on market opportunities, competitors, and potential mall locations, as well as reaching out to buyers and mall management teams to secure strategic deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research:

    • Conduct in-depth research on potential buyers, industries, and new market opportunities for growth.
    • Identify and analyze potential malls and retail spaces to determine the best locations for new store openings.
    • Research competitor strategies in the retail and mall sectors to understand their positioning and identify gaps for our business to capitalize on.
  • Competitor Analysis:

    • Study competitors’ pricing, marketing strategies, store locations, and customer engagement models to identify potential competitive advantages.
    • Use competitor insights to inform outreach strategies and better position our brand with mall management and buyers.
  • Mall Research & Outreach:

    • Identify key malls, shopping centers, and retail locations with high foot traffic and strong customer demographics that align with our target market.
    • Reach out to mall management teams to explore leasing opportunities for new store openings.
    • Build and maintain relationships with mall leasing managers and negotiate favorable terms for new store locations.
    • Coordinate site visits and work with internal teams to assess the suitability of locations for our stores.
  • Lead Generation & Client Outreach:

    • Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through various channels, including networking, online research, trade shows, and industry contacts.
    • Proactively contact potential buyers and decision-makers through cold calls, emails, social media, and other relevant channels.
    • Leverage your research findings to craft tailored outreach messages that resonate with buyers and mall representatives.
  • Sales Negotiation:

    • Engage in direct negotiations with buyers, presenting value propositions, and negotiating deals to secure contracts and sales agreements.
    • Negotiate lease terms, conditions, and store placements with mall management to maximize visibility and foot traffic for new store locations.
  • Proposal Development:

    • Prepare and present detailed proposals for new store openings, including market analysis, expected foot traffic, and financial projections.
    • Create compelling sales presentations to potential buyers, highlighting the advantages of partnering with our company.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:

    • Collaborate with internal marketing and operations teams to align strategies for new store launches and buyer engagement.
    • Track and report on outreach efforts, deals closed, and sales progress, providing updates and recommendations to the leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or retail expansion.
  • Strong research skills to assess market opportunities, mall locations, and competitor activities.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating deals, particularly with mall management and corporate buyers.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales management software is preferred.
