Currently, we are hiring a Project Administrator/Administrative Assistant for a restoration company based in Burnaby.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage project materials, including drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, contract documents, and correspondence.
  • Prepare and track change order documentation and related purchase orders.
  • Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients.
  • Communicate with subcontractors to ensure they understand their scope of work and assist with budgeting.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with billing duties related to various projects.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience in construction is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on-site and actively participate in project execution.

Job Details:

  • Job Types: Full-time, Fixed-term contract (1 month).
  • Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00 per hour.
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

This role requires a candidate with at least 3-4 years of administrative experience, particularly in answering phone calls and handling billing/data entry.
