As a Software Developer at PhoneBox, you’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on creating, maintaining, and improving software solutions that enhance our telecom services. Your role will involve working on various platforms including customer portals, mobile apps, backend systems, and integrations with third-party platforms, ensuring our systems are user-friendly, reliable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications to support PhoneBox’s telecom services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement system integrations with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, telecom platforms).
• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and design discussions.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to improvements in system architecture and development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, focusing on both backend and frontend development.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript (React.js, Node.js), PHP, or similar.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with database management (SQL, NoSQL) and version control systems (Git).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
