This leadership position is responsible for managing a dynamic sales team, driving revenue and margin growth, and fostering collaboration between sales and operations teams. The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in strategic pipeline management, performance monitoring, and the growth of the company’s transportation solutions.
Salary Range: $110,000–$115,000
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide an inside sales team.
- Recruit, train, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Establish and track performance objectives.
Sales & Operations Coordination:
- Facilitate alignment between sales and operations teams.
- Drive initiatives in pricing, market penetration, and KPI management.
- Develop sales strategies and analyze customer metrics in real-time.
Revenue & Strategic Development:
- Manage revenue and margin growth across multiple verticals.
- Oversee sales activity metrics, including CRM adherence and load counts.
- Contribute to RFP submissions and customer bid packages.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in transportation-related roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience in non-asset-based brokerage.
- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
