We are hiring for a Retail Associate for a Food Retail company based in Burnaby.

• Schedule: Full-time. Saturday, Sunday and 3 days during the week
• We are looking for Spanish-speaking candidates as this is a Mexican Food Retail company.

Responsibilities:

• Managing stock allocation and inventory organization within the store
• Loading and unloading inventory (willingness to learn or experience using a manual pallet jack is preferred)
• Performing basic data entry tasks
• Providing excellent customer service with strong communication and English skills

Skills

• Strong cashiering skills with experience in cash handling.
• Proficient in basic math for accurate transaction processing.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Proven ability in upselling and driving sales through effective communication techniques.
• Familiarity with product demonstrations and engaging customers through interactive experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
