Business Analyst - TELUS Employer Solutions (TES)
TELUS Employer Solutions (TES), a subsidiary of TELUS Communications, is seeking a Business Analyst to support our Talent Management team. As a BA, you will work as a liaison between business users and application developers, assisting with requirements and analysis for TES’ applicant tracking system and other talent management systems. Your background in recruitment, talent management, and HR processes combined with a functional systems background will be essential in designing and refining system requirements and providing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Talent Management team by translating business requirements into functional designs for the applicant tracking system.
- Troubleshoot and manage technical issues, ensuring successful incident management and change management processes.
- Analyze business requirements, develop test criteria, and document business processes.
- Ensure accuracy in design specifications, testing, and user documentation.
- Participate in the development of implementation strategies and plans for Talent Management.
- Conduct internal and client audits related to the applicant tracking system.
- Build end-user reports for the applicant tracking system using custom reporting applications.
- Manage configuration and security administration in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and attend client-facing and internal team meetings.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma/certification in Human Resources (CHRP) or equivalent experience.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in HR/Talent Management systems, preferably applicant tracking systems, including application support, functional testing, and gathering requirements.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with HR policies and procedures, including collective agreements and union environments (preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR/Talent Management systems, especially applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of HR and recruitment best practices, with the ability to analyze and implement improvements.
- Familiarity with creating business and functional requirements, project planning, and testing.
- Experience with relational databases, data analysis tools, and reporting solutions (a plus).
- Ability to manage tasks of varying complexity and meet deadlines under pressure.
Nice to Have:
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
- Project management experience is considered an asset.
