Job Title: HR Analyst

Job Description:

Telus Employer Solutions is seeking a skilled HR Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating HR reports, transferring data into PeopleSoft, and maintaining the integrity of HR systems and data. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in HRIS and data management, with experience working with PeopleSoft or similar platforms.

Responsibilities:

HR Reporting: Develop and produce regular HR reports, including headcount, turnover, employee demographics, and other key metrics to support decision-making across the business.

Data Management: Manage and process HR data to ensure it is accurate and up-to-date. This includes transferring data from various HR platforms into PeopleSoft and ensuring data consistency across systems.

System Integration: Support the integration of HR data with PeopleSoft, ensuring smooth data flows and identifying potential issues or discrepancies.

System Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain the HRIS system to reflect changes in employee information, roles, and status. Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues or errors related to data management.

Compliance and Data Security: Ensure that all HR data handling complies with company policies and industry standards, including data privacy and security regulations.

Collaboration with HR Team: Work closely with HR, payroll, and IT teams to ensure alignment between HR data management practices and organizational goals.

Process Improvement: Continuously analyze current processes and recommend improvements to streamline data entry, reporting, and system functionality.

User Support and Training: Provide support to HR and other departments regarding PeopleSoft and other HR systems, including troubleshooting and offering training where needed.

Audit and Data Validation: Conduct regular audits of HR data to ensure accuracy and identify any inconsistencies or areas for improvement.

Ad Hoc Reporting: Create custom reports as needed to support ad hoc requests from senior leadership and other departments.

System Updates and Upgrades: Assist in the implementation of system updates and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations and data processes.

Qualifications:


Previous experience in HR reporting, data management, or HRIS administration.

Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft or other HRIS systems, with a focus on data management and reporting.

Experience handling large data sets and working with technical teams to resolve system issues.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data in a clear and actionable manner.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Located in Ontario or willing to relocate.

Previous experience working with PeopleSoft or similar HR systems in an HR Analyst role.

Knowledge of HR policies and procedures, particularly in a large corporate environment.
